| Home Description Beautiful modern large 3 bedroom house with integral garage located in a peaceful village but just 8km away from the beaches. House is fully equiped with all mod cons and enjoys private front and back gardens complete with brick-built barbeque and fully tiled terrace for al-freso dining during those long summer evenings. Enjoy the views of the snow-topped Pyrenees from the first floor balcony whilst enjoying a coffee (or something stronger!) on the bistro table & chairs.
The house is a 5 minute walk from the village heart of St Genis de Fontaines, which offers a playground for children, a boulodrome, an assault course, two tennis courts, river fishing, cycling and rambling paths, horse riding. There is a market on Mondays and Fridays selling local produce. The village is famous for its 10th century Romanesque Abbey, the Saint-Michel. Enjoy wine tasting at the 6th generation vine producer in the village, who has won several gold medals for their fine but reasonably priced wines.
Several excellent fine sandy beaches run from Argeles sur Mer (8km away), including St. Cyprien and Canet Plage - convenient for family entertainment, golf courses, nightlife and watersports activities - so you can enjoy days out on the bicycles (available for hire nearby) exploring all of the many family friendly beaches all along the coast and the Aqualand resort nearby. | With 3 large bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms with walk-in shower units, the property is very suitable for a family - the two single beds can open up to two further beds, making a family of 6-8 persons very easy to accommodate. A high chair, a cot and child safety stair-gate are also provided.
